The survey, conducted by the South Korean Ministry of Defense Press Office between April 4 and 17, surveyed 306 soldiers. As a result, girl group aespa received the most votes, with 18.1 percent.
In fact, one soldier shared how AESPA helped ease his hardships while on duty: “In difficult and tiring times, when I thought of Karina, a member of AESPA, it helped me get through that time. It made me want to defend this country even more for her.”
Another soldier mentioned that the four women's music was an important part of his time. In fact, he said: "After work, watching aespa's music videos during my break helped me feel better."
In particular, apart from the above groups, fromis 9 is the group that received the highest support at 16.2 percent, followed by female stars IU, IVE, and NMIXX. In general, the officers gave answers regarding choosing the stars in their hearts for similar reasons, such as their lyrics are a source of energy and can make them braver, etc.
